Request a donation of AP Stylebooks

AP has limited copies of the our now-retired AP Stylebook, 56th Edition, to donate to organizations that cannot afford to buy them, such as journalism camps, conferences for minority journalists and high schools with little or no school newspaper budget.

AP provides the books for free, and the organization need only pay for the shipping. The shipping rates are provided by USPS, UPS and FedEx and are based on your location. You can determine your shipping by adding the number of books you want to your shopping cart and then use the shipping calculator in the right column to determine your rate.

We evaluate each request based on need, the population served by the donation and the number of books we have in inventory. We make every attempt to be fair and equitable in our donations, but with a limited supply of books to give, we will not be able to honor every request. If our stock runs low, we might ask if a smaller number of books could work for you, but we might need to say no. We ask for your understanding that some deserving organizations might not receive free books. Decisions are at our sole discretion.
